It's Too Quite Here!

Matt's Grandmother passed on Sunday Morning. She was quite old, had Alzheimer's and went peacefully in her sleep.

She died in a nursing home in Tennessee and that is where the funeral is today. Because things are so weird at work, Matt and I decided that I should probably stay but he took the girls down there to say goodbye.

They left yesterday morning and will be back on Wednesday afternoon. They drove Matt's mom's car down. The girls grabbed the portable DVD player and a bunch of movies for the trip.

I'm sure Matt will be fine, but I can't say that I'm not a little concerned. I don't think he has ever had both of them by himself for a long period of time. Even when I go to bowling tournaments, he usually drops them off at a Grandma's house. At least he has Emerson, she'll keep him in line.

As for me, I don't know what to do with myself. Last night I enjoyed a cherry coke float while I colored my hair and caught up on some commenting.

I hope I can keep myself busy, who knows what kind of trouble I can get into if I'm too bored and left to my own devices.

Hmmmm...maybe.

I'm sorry to hear about Matt's Grandma. It's good that he took the girls with him.

I'd be curled up with a good Maeve Binchey book.

I am sorry for your families loss.

I hope things are a little better at work for you.

Enjoy the peace and quiet!! I would relish in it. It's too cold to go skinny dipping around here.

Sorry to hear about the grandma.

When they are all there you wish for some piece and quiet and then they are gone and you want them back. I know exactly how you feel. Try to enjoy it while you can!

I'm sorry to hear about Matt's Grandma, but glad that he was able to take the girls down to say goodbye.

Would you think I'm weird if I told you I dreamed about you and Twilight last night? LOL
