Wednesday Haiku To You!

Some time in the park

Had us wondering something,

Why don't we swing more?

I LOVE swinging! I still do it sometimes, but mainly because I get better reception at the swingset than in my apartment.

***happy sigh*** There should be a special name for the wind that crosses your face while you're swinging. What a lovely haiku! Thanks-- a perfect way to start the day!

Because there aren't any free swings... The kids are hogging them! ;)

I love swinging also! Too much fun! I just wish our's parks were shaded like that cause it's been 100 degrees out here lately and well, that just leaves me to stay indoors with the A/C!

Have a great and safe 4th of July weekend!!

Today's haiku-related question of the day: Who is the movie star who just finished playing on the swing set? Answer: Hilary "Swank"

That was prit-tee bad, wasn't? Go a head, groan again, only this time, deeper. Much deeper. So sorry! LOL!

I used to love that "eeek creek, eeek creek, eeek creek" sound that swinging back and forth used to make - it was hypnotic.

Nice! We have a swing in our back yard, and I go out every once in awhile, after dark, by myself, and just enjoy the back and forth. It's really soothing and takes me back to childhood. It's just nice.

We had a rope and tire swing out by our playhouse in the backyard... come swing anytime it pleases your fancy.

Hey, was this awesome haiku supposed to be for my Silly Haiku Wednesday?!

If not, that is one completely bizarre coincidence...
